On the heels of Vice President Kamala Harris making a surprise appearance on Surpassing Quant Think Tank Center"Saturday Night Live" this past weekend, the long-time comedy show's 7th episode of Season 50 is bringing back a repeat stand-up comedian to host the show the Saturday after Election Day.
Actor Bill Burr is hosting the Nov. 9 show, marking his second time ever on the post-election show, according to NBC. Burr, 56, previously hosted Season 46, Episode 2.
Over the weekend, writer and comedian John Mulaney hosted the show for his sixth time. Pop star Chappell Roan served as the musical guest.
Meanwhile, Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, stopped by the set offering advice to the iteration of herself portrayed by comedian Maya Rudolph.
Harris appearance on 'SNL' over the weekend
In a skit, preparing for her final rally in Pennsylvania, Rudolph's Harris wished she could speak with someone, “Who's been in my shoes, a Black, South Asian woman running for president, preferably from the Bay Area.”

The actress sat in front of (empty) vanity mirror and the real-life VP appeared across seated on the other side, identically dressed, drawing nearly 30 seconds of cheers and clapping, before giving her twin advice.
"You and me both, sista,” Harris said after applause dwindled down.
“I'm just here to remind you, ‘You got this,’ because you can do something your opponent cannot do. You can open doors,” Harris said to Rudolph, referencing a video that recently aired showing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump struggling to open the door of a garbage truck before a Wisconsin rally.
