Come on Ashley, let's go Ashley.
Barbie is hitting both the big screen and the small screen this summer. That's because in addition to the upcoming film starring Margot Robbie, HGTV is taking on the Mattel character's most iconic accessory: her dream home.
Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge will see some of the network's most popular talent attempt to turn a Southern California home into the iconic dollhouse. And Ashley Graham will be along for the ride as host of the new show.
"I cannot wait to see Barbie's signature style get the life-sized treatment in an actual home," the model shared in the March 21 announcement. "She holds such a special place in my heart, especially since Mattel created a one-of-a-kind doll of me back in 2016. It feels like such a full circle moment now that I have a hand in the creation of her real-life Dreamhouse."
Among the 15 HGTV designers and home renovators up for the challenge are Ty Pennington, Christina Hall and Food Network's Antonia Lofaso, just to name a few.
According to HGTV, the four-episode remodel will include "an early 1960s atomic age kitchen, a '70s disco vibe for Ken's Den and a main bedroom decked out in '80s glam" to celebrate all of Barbie's different eras since her 1959 launch.
But wait, there's more: Summer Baking Championship and Beachside Brawl will also feature the character in some of their upcoming episodes as well.
For Ashley, this is just the latest team-up with Barbie. Back in 2016, she helped introduce a curvy line of the Mattel dolls prior to getting her very own figurine.
"I think it's fantastic," she said of Mattel's inclusive move. "If I could have known that I was a Barbie when I was in my early teens, or even probably younger, I would have felt so much better about myself going through middle school and high school."
Check out Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge this summer on HGTV and Barbie the movie July 21, only in theaters.
